Yet another of my foreign flicks-

This one won the Oscar in 2003 for Best Screenplay. It was really good in that way that only movies with subtitles have. You know, actual plot and nobody blowing up something or someone else. It's the story of two men who become acquainted through two women in their lives who are in comas. Sounds depressing but it really isn't. It's about the journey these men make in how they care for these women.

I liked it. My husband avoided it so I can't tell you what he thought. He always avoid my chick flick foreign films.

It's one of those movies that has parts that will probably stick with me as well.

I like it too. Many of Almodovar's later movies have that effect as well. Weird because he started out with slap stick comedies.
