Um...do I have to be a middleaged man going through a mid-life crisis in America to get it?

I wasn't originally planning to see this one, but my husband saw it without me and liked it so much he talked me into renting it. I agree with him--I thought this movie was way underrated. I thought I was going to click on this thread and find you felt the same way. Two thumbs up at our house.

(You know, I really don't like Nicholas Cage. His face kind of annoys me. But I like a lot of the movies he chooses to be in lately so I'm always stuck watching him!)

It's not that I didn't like it...I honestly don't know what to think about it. I was really into it, and then the end just tied it all up in a neat little bow...so unlike the rest of the movie. I also thought there was this tremendous potential for depth that never really happened either...I guess I liked the mood/atmosphere and a few moments, but was mostly underwhelmed...and hoping I just missed something.

Boring. Can I have my $4.50 and the last 2 hours of my life back?

That's exactly how I felt. I didn't really get the point either.
