okay movie. It was about the media taking on Senator McCarthy. Since I didn't live through it, it was pretty informative IMO.

We rented this one and watched it last night.
As Laker said, since all of us are WAY too young to remember the Red Scare for the most part, it's a very interesting history lesson.
I thought it was great but I actually felt that they could have gone on for another 30 minutes or so to show what happened after, after.
It was very well acted and I have to admit that Robert Downey, Jr. has been placed back on the Top 10 list.
As a commentary on wishy-washy pushover journalism, it's great, too. (Murrow was the first to take on McCarthyism) Makes the whole Watergate story that much more compelling since I realized that the country had just gotten out of a time of journalism that was too afraid of the politicians to ask the questions that need to be asked.
I liked it.
