No, you're not getting old. Movies haven't always been this bad. I remember being excited about a movie months before it came out. Now, I just glance at the titles and nothing jumps out at me. I recently went to see The Da Vinci Code and it was well below my expectations. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to renting from Netflix rather than paying big bucks to see a mediocre movie in the theater.

I'm not the person to be responding as I don't go to the movies often, but I did go see Thank YOu For Smoking recently and loved it. I'm not sure if I ever got around to posting a review for it--I'll have to check. The only other movies I've seen in the theatre are kid movies, and I'll that isn't what you and your dh had in mind!Awake is the new sleep!
