Superman Returns

Saw it. Loved it. Brandon Routh... yum.
It really reminded me of the old Christopher Reeve Superman movies, definitely captured the spirit and romance of those.
Kevin Spacey was great as Lex Luthor.
Would have liked it if Parker Posey had more lines.
Kate Bosworth looked like Natalie Portman with a wig.

We saw this a few weeks ago before the 'real' job started. We put the kiddo in daycare and went to lunch, the afternoon show and then out for ice cream.

The movie was great- I'd even see it again. Kevin Spacey is frikkin' brilliant as Lex Luther. The actor young enough to be my child (Superman) was perfectly cast, although eeriely reminiscent of Christopher Reeve.

If you can still see it in theaters, go- if not then definitely put it on the pay per view or Netlfix list.

I saw this a few weeks ago with DH and some fellow residents. It was a bit lacking as regards storyine, there was so much more they could have done with it. The special effects were good though. And Brandon Routh....theres a bit of eye candy!!
