Just saw this over the weekend. The movie is absolutely amazing. DH kind of gave up on American movies blowing us away and were happy to learn this one is Scottish. While pretty brutal (I couldn't watch some scenes), it also lacks the fake PC bullshit and the ending is kind of depressing. But we totally loved it and it really made you think about the issues and the state of the world in general. We give it four thumbs up.

We rented it a bit ago and loved it too.....not OK for the munchkins tho

We just watched this after putting it off for who knows how long... I didn't even know the movie was about a doctor-- my mom just told me it was "really good" and I should watch it. DH and I both loved it. It was really great. Forest Wittaker's acting was sublime! He was so great. And the doctor was fabulous- he was the protagonist in atonement, and becoming jane.

It's definitely worth watching!
