Based on a motorcycle trip taken by Che Guevara before he became a revolutionary and thousands of people were wearing a tshirt with his picture on it. It was really good and can I just say Gael Garcia Bernal- SO YUMMY! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

DH and I really enjoyed this movie as well. Tho I am sure that he doesn't share your sentiments on Bernal. Silly me I had no idea what the movie was about when our friends told us we had to watch it. Great movie.

I enjoyed this movie too. The scenery was beautiful (and Bernal was nice).

I loved this movie. Of course, Gael Garcia Bernal had something to do with that but he was not the driving force behind my enjoyment of the movie.

Though I am not a fan of Che Guevara's political ideology, I liked the movie. I found the sappy-sentimental scenes of Ernesto Guevara de la Serna's "transformation" into social activist uber cheesy- but again, that may be because I disagree with his cause.

My favorite character was that friend of his - the chemistry or biochem (can't remember) doctoral student. He was hilarious!!! He was always bummed when Che gave his money to the poor, rather than a "working woman" for his pleasure.

Must put this on my Netflix list. This movie is particularly timely with Latin America's increasingly leftist and socialist leanings.

Just got it from Netflix- hopefully we'll watch it one night this week.
