  • What are you listening to?

For some reason, I have Stevie Wonder's "Jungle Fever" running through my head.

But...today in the car I had to play Shawn Colvin's version of "This Must be the Place (Naive Melody)" (cover of the Talking Heads song) an extra time. That has been my favorite CD over the last week.

That sounds nice. I listen to Hawaiian music when it seems especially grey and dream that I am somewhere else.

DS and I went on a little road trip today and listened to Elizabeth Mitchell. He absolutely loves her "Car Car" song and wanted to listen to it again and again...and again. Now I can't get that song out of my head. I do love her music, though.

He (Harry Connick Jr) will be at the State Theater in April, I love him! "More" was our first dance at our wedding, his version of course!

                      ME TOO!!!!

I'm pathetic. I went to get my haircut last night and got really excited when "The Cars -- Crazy" came on. At least it was an improvement from "The Little Mermaid" !

Have to add Norah Jones to my list too. She was on NPR not too long ago. I love her.

I get the most random songs stuck in my head. Sometimes it's the first song I hear in the day or a phrase I hear will remind me of a song and then it will loop in my head all day!
