  • Techno lovers? Anyone? How bout classical.

Those are the only 2 genres I listen to. Isn't that a little odd?

It's probably because they are so different that when I get techno'd out I put on some classical, then jump back into the techno.

Even so, anyone know any good classical artists? Or techno. Whatever you've got

Oh my gosh, call me Karoline. Lol....karrot kake is a funny nickname a friend gave to me

I do like trip hop! It's great to chill out to....I'm familiar with Morcheeba, Zero 7, Thievery Corporation.

I also love browsing through the genres on myspace, in the music section. There's TONS of artists.

Ok, I just adore music. A great love of mine. Too bad it's only like 2.5 genres that I like

My husband is a huge fan of Radiohead (if you haven't heard the interview on Terri Gross' show on NPR w/ Thom York- find it and listen to it), Moby, Massive Attack. He says if you've not yet heard Thievery Corporation (a DC band) find them.

I'm a huge classical fan as is our three year old. (he 'sings' the music which is great)

Nikolai definitely prefers the Baroque period. I'm especially partial to early twentieth century composers.

DH loves Thom York....I can't stand his voice. We're both big fans of Thievery Corporation.

        Do you have Sirius?

I don't have sirius...I get listen to music on Pandora, or my SO sends me music.

...and I've tried to branch out, but I just really love techno for some reason and end up shutting off what I just tried listening to for more techno. What's my deal??

Music really affects my mood, and I have to be in a certain mood to listen to certain genres. So maybe I've just been in hyper, happy moods and I just want to dance around...ok, I'll stop. It's probably because of my SO that I adore

          Haha.

As for classical, I don't know too much about it. What I do know, is that I like the more modern stuff, like Il Divo, Sarah Brightman (amazing soprano), Andrea Bocelli, and stuff like Josh Groban (what would he be classified under).
