    Man I love her.

I'm currently listening to her newest Hope and Desire on itunes.

and if you ever get the chance to see her in concert- GO. I first saw her when she opened for Johnny Lang at the 9:30 club in DC. Fantastic. I've seen her few times more- she's coming to TX but it would require some extended acrobatics to be able to go. She's from Boston and gets a lot of airplay there. (although she lives in FLA now)

anyway- she's a blues singer similar to Bonnie Raitt or Beth Orton. but better.

she's awesome. when SueC and I were first becoming friends, Sue burned a copy of one of her discs for me. One of many indicators that SueC was super-cool friend material.

OK- no, seriously. you all need to listen to this woman.

I'm listening to a song off her first cd/album; a 7 minute blues song (Ain't Nobody's Business) can we say bliss?

She is the PERFECT person to listen to when your spouse is gone and you are feelin' a wee bit bluesy.

Practically required listening for intern year.
