Seeking new music

I don't know if this fits with your list but I just got a Devotchka (sp?) cd that I really like -- it is not the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack but similar.

I also like Zoe Keating. I posted about that somewhere. Again, not really in those categories but nice to listen to. Especially if you are working at the same time.

I've been listening to Sally Dworsky ...my mom heard her on Prairie Home Companion and she has beautiful voice....also I like Jill Phillips and Sandra McCracken (she's married to Derek Webb from Caedmon's Call).

Really, we have been listening mostly to kids music.... Raffi, Dan Zanes, etc..
