We saw him in concert last night, which was a major life goal acheived. He must be 50 ish by now, and he still ripped off his shirt three times. He sang a lot of oldies, but not as many as I would have liked. He pretty much looks EXACTLY the same as he did 15 years ago when I was a worshipper.

Me too. How cool.
Although I will say I did not love him as much solo as I did with Johnny Marr. That man's guitar combined with Morissey's voice (and pathetic lyrics - which I LOVED) ... oooh la la.
In a similar vein, I like to say I saw Bauhaus live, even though they were well broken up by the time I was a fan. I came as close as possible: I saw Peter Murphy & Love & Rockets in the same week.
That was a good week for a 17 year old.
