yes, of Yaz fame. So, she's gone on to focus mostly on jazz so on a lark I bought her cd Voice. Wow. It's like all the good parts of Yaz minus the synthesizer.

    For the babies:

Vince Clark- w/ Depeche Mode- left DM
Joined up w/ Alison Moyet and formed Yaz
Yaz disbanded- Vince formed Erasure, Alison went solo.

LOVE Yaz. LOVE Alison Moyet. I'm not a huge fan of jazz, but her voice might draw me there.

Love DM, yaz, Alison, and erasure, too. Haven't heard her recent stuff, but might look into it, now.

How young are you, rainbabies? You might remember such top-40-radio-play hits as "people are people" or "personal jesus"

that rings a bell...and i asked dh this morning...he added some words.

so, okay i know who they are...but only because of that one song.

i just turned 30. i should probably know who they are, i was just too busy with my new kids on the block phase or something.
