    I've never done it myself, but I went to an old college in a small town, and some of the... um, more established residents talked very fondly about shape note singing. Doesn't look difficult, if you can read regular 4-part harmony!

    I'm confused, though - Do you actually sing at these events, or just listen to others sing?
