What are the top five albums you can listen to every night for the rest of your life? (and yes, back in the olden days, you would Go To a Record store and buy an ALBUM)

Mine is totally going to date me but here they are:

    Bruce- Born to Run
Bruce- Darkness on the Edge of Town
    Bruce- The Rising
    Peter Gabriel- So
Cat Stevens- (I'm going to cheat and list "The Very Best of Cat Stevens")

Of course, I'm missing U2, Susan Tedeschi, Carly Simon, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, the Beastie Boys and everyone from my punk rock youth.

That said, those five I can listen to forever.

    This is tough....
    Aimee Mann "Whatever"
Grateful Dead "Europe 72" (does a double album count as one?)
    Miles Davis "Kind of Blue"
Allman Brothers "Eat a Peach" (another double album...whoops)
    Santana "Caravenserai"

I think these would not get old too quick. And in fact I had listened to them every day for lengthy periods of time over and over. Got the scratches to prove it.

now I just have to hook up my turntable...

I've only had one album I've been able to listen to over and over again for months and it is Lil Wayne's latest (Tha Carter III). It never gets old!!!
