Any thoughts? I really like it. It makes me nervous since my daughter's boyfriend is Army ROTC. I realize it is TV and dramatization, but I like it in the same way I like Grey's Anatomy.

I haven't been able to stomach the thought of watching it- I'm living it!

Although in all seriousness, the medicine side of things is somewhat insulated from the issues presented on the show. Thankfully. No one in medicine lives on post unless they're seriously Important People.

I'm addicted to it. I love the characters. My sister's hsuband retired from the Navy and she never lived on base, but she didn't really like it. She said like "ER" never in a million years would all of that happen in just one ER. Sensationalized. I actually watched the marathion last night. I think it is because of Caroline and her boyfriend Alex that I am watching it. They like it, and if they stay together she will be an Army wife! Am I pathetic?

hey Luanne- you know...we have GREAT wedding ceremonies...

I'll forward you my copy "Service Etiquette" but I'll need it back in case we're invited to the White House. (probably not the current administration though, so you'll have some time) (military wedding invitations are SO F-ING COOL- but we went with informal since we were married in my parents living room and at the start of our video you can hear our officiant saying "well, if the groom would put down his beer, we can start the ceremony...")

I can only imagine them saying "well if the bride (Caroline) would only put down her beer"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
