I was suprised to see that there were so many who had never cooked a certain type of cuisine. I would think they would chose well rounded chefs that could really compete against each other.Comment

So I caught last night's episode tonight - I've eaten at the CIA, its FABULOUS! Easily the #1 restaurant DH and I recommend to friends that are going to Napa.

I was also surprised that a number of chefs from NY area have never had some ethnic food before. It was also funny to watch them shop on Brighton Beach, I know the store they filmed in. For the record, the dishes they have prepared were only somewhat close to Russian food and I'm curious when Tom Coliccio was actually in Russia.Comment

I really wanted Carla! She let Casey change her style too much. Laura - funny - I went with a muppet character at first, too. But I thought she looked like Beaker.
I'm just glad that Stefan didn't win. I didn't really want Hosea, but at least it wasn't Stefan.Comment
