Anyone else watch this show on Showtime? I've recently gotten hooked and am just starting to watch the 3rd season, hopefully I'll catch up before the new season starts!

Haven't seen it yet, but Seasons 1 & 2 are on my Netflix instant watch queue. Try that if you have netflix - easy to catch up!

LOVE Dexter. Only two more episodes of Season 3 and I'm ready for Season 4 on 9/27. Can't wait!! Might have to have a little shindig to welcome Dexter back. It's been soo long...

I've seen billboard ads and it's intriguing. What's the main motif of the show?

My son hooked me on this creepy and totally addicting show - I love it. Watched seasons 1 and 2 before school started on instant Netflix and after the beginning of school settles down I will jump back in!

              Adrianne -
Dexter is a "Blood Spatter Expert" in a police department but he is a serial killer with a mission. He "takes care" of those who are guilty but have. for some reason, have evaded either capture of legal prosecution.

Interesting psychology and odd drama. I am pretty sure that you would either love it or hate it and you would know pretty quick if it is your thing or not.

It is definitely a show that you have to watch from the very beginning. I tried to just jump in and didn't really care for it. After starting from Season 1, episode 1, I was hooked. There is a HUGE back story to why Dexter is the way he is and why he has the "codes" that he lives by.

HA! I wish I was watching it with a girlfriend, but instead I'm watching it with DH so I'm stuck watching it while he's around. Considering he's doing OB/Gyn right now, you can imagine how limited that is....

We're watching it On Demand from Comcast. I'm really determined to get caught up so I may have to ditch DH. Should I feel guilty???

Ditch him Charlene. DH watches it with me when he can. Once you actually know the back story, you can just catch him up. Heck, you can just tell him the back story. My girlfriend has been an avid watcher since day 1 and drug me in this summer. She felt that I should watch it unfold and boy was it worth it!!! Once all that ice truck killer stuff is resolved, you're pretty golden.

That's what I was thinking now that the Bay Harbour Butcher deal is resolved. Just cause he can't hang doesn't mean I should suffer right???
