I died laughing at the "dolphins are gay sharks"! I thought the songs were great, but I agree there were some awkward scenes, like they were trying to fit in a song, but couldn't get the dialog right to work it in. I still think the show is amazing!Laurie

Like we barely had time to get used to Rachel & Finn, then they're broken up and now there's Rachel & Other Guy but that won't work out because of GLEE CLUB CONFLICT, but oh now we're back to Rachel & Finn.
Same thing with Schue & Emma - they went from dating to not dating in like 5 minutes.
Likewise for Sue's "suspension" - that was negated in the first five minutes of the show (I mean, thank god because Jane Lynch is amazing, but still)
Also so little focus on any of the "supporting" cast, who are my favorites really.
(Clearly I spent too much time analyzing this episode, but it is not my fault, J's grad school friends had a Glee watching party and we hung out for like an hour discussing it!)- Eric: Husband to PGY3 Neuro

I too agree it didn't flow right, but was glad to have it back... More so, I was just disappointed Idina Menzel didn't sing. Seriously... You get someone like her on the show and don't take her for everything she's got? I am pretty sure she is on more eps with the arc they created and I bet she will sing later, but that is such a tease!-L.Jane

I agree it was choppy b/c they were introducing SO many new plotlines, but I also hope that means that the choppiness was a one-time deal.
Anyway, love the Lea/Jonathan duet. I bought the episode on iTunes to watch on my commute (since I missed it on tv) and have probably played that snippet a couple dozen times in the past day.
I really hope Idina's character is Rachel's mom/egg donor. I also hope we get to "meet" Rachel's dads.

Glee Vol. 3 Playlist released today on Perez -- dude, they have Menzel singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mis, and Neil Patrick Harris covering "Dream On" (by Aersomith, I'm guessing).
I am so ridiculously excited about this T.V. show!
And now, for some fun tidbits:
"No really, I said it first. The Palladium. '87."
"You're about as sexy as a Cabbage Patch doll. It is exhausting to look at you."
"When I pulled my hamstring, I went to a misogynist."Wife to Family Medicine attending, Mom to DS1 and DS2
