Project Runway finale (spoiler alert)

Meh, I was not crazy about Gretchen's line of clothes at all, I would have chosen Mondo to win. If she is the future of fashion I am very scared, . I also don't like how they take 4 to the finale and then eliminate one designer right before Bryant Park. Seems cruel to have a designer complete a line and then never get to show it. I would have liked to seen what Michael C. put together.

The blog has a point but I was disappointed to see Gretchen win but I had a feeling that was going to happen when they tried to humanize her last week. I think Mondo will make it anyway.

I too was voting for Mondo and was dissapointed. I loved how he made clothes fun. Her clothes were just boring to me.

Anyone else think Jessica had some botox gone wrong? Something was just wierd with her mouth/jaw. Maybe Im just being an over critical beotch, but something about her every time she talked just bugged me.

Watched Project Runway today, and was so upset that Gretchen the meanie was selected! What is this??
When people are ugly on the inside, and it comes out, it turns me off -- I love Mondo He definitely is fun and airy!!
Andy's stuff was sophisticated and nice as well.

There was definitely something off with Jessica...can't figure out what. Though I liked her outfit and thought Heidi was a little too red!

Ugh! I dislike Gretchen insanely. Such an entitled brat. I absolutely think Andy and Mondo should have been the top 2. But take my opinion with a grain of salt because her asthetic isn't my cup of tea. Her stuff just looks like something hobos in Pioneer Courthouse Square would be hanging out in. I *hate* her stupid "Running Through Thunder" crap.

Jessica Simpson looked puffy. Not "it's that time of the month" puffy, more like "I'm knocked up" puffy.

You don't have to feel too bad for Michael C., all 10 of the final contestants actually get to make full collections and show them at fashion week. (They just edit it so we the viewers only get to see the collections from the final 3.) So even though we didn't get to see the collection, all the editors and department store buyers got to see his stuff.

Totally agree with this blog - that the judges went with the designer who had the most commercial line was a mistake. You don't win Top Chef for making the best chicken nuggets and you don't win Project Runway for making the most mass-market collection.

That said, I think that Nina/Tom stuck it to Mondo because he ignored their advice and Gretchen took it (it was good advice) and that's why she won, which is also a mistake.

Yeah, I was unhappy with the results. Can't wait until Tim does another one of his "tell it like it is" rants and lets the world know what he thinks about the result of the season...
