Does anyone like it? I have been watching this since the beginning and absolutely love it!

What do you guys think about the new season?

I love it! this is the first season we have HBO, but I've caught up through Netflix. Have you read any of the books? I think I may read them after this season.

Spoiler alert!!! I am loving the Eric story line! It cracks me up to see him so... innocent!

The books are very different, but fun in their own regard.

My SO and I were watching Dexter on instant play on Netflix, but then they changed it so the only way we can watch it is by ordering the DVD's. We were a little ticked, so we gave up on Dexter and que'd up True Blood because I've heard so many great things about it! So I'm excited to check it out

As I said I have been watching Tru Blood since the very beginning and LOVE IT! I think this season is a bit out of control with the witches and werewolves being included...and I am kind of confused with Bill being the king of louisiana? I can't put my finger on him....is he good or bad? I also think the Eric storyline is very interesting.. I find that Eric is much more interesting in Bill... I think he is one of this characters that the producers have purposely chosen to develop in later season.. I think he has an interesting past and I am curious to see what they do with him..

@Karrotkae.. I know you'll trublood I have made some of my family members watch it and they become hooked after the two episodes make sure you watch every season if not you may be a bit lost...

I have tried to read the books... but after watching the show I find that watching the show killed me wanting to read Charlene Harris however if you are into that kind of vampire erotica type stuff I would highly recommend Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles... I LOVED THEM!!

Watched the first season and then read all of the books...the first book is kind of boring after seeing the show (because it follows somewhat closely (with some variation)), but after that it's really different. The book this season is based on is one of my favorites (if not my favorite) of the series...

I feel like the books are a way-keyed down version of the show...so when I see the show, it's kind of out-of-control crazy (like how the books might seem if you were having a bad trip while reading them...haha).

Oh, we watch this show. We catch up on it in spurts (no pun intended). I would say "when we're not busy," but truthfully this show is perfect for when you are busy and just want to collapse for an hour at the end of the day. Mindless but well-done, awesomely pulpy, good job HBO!

We're currently caught up, and I think this Eric storyline is one of their best. And good acting by whats-his-face--it's hard to believe that's even the same actor.

And not being able to put your finger on Bill or tell if he's good or bad is the whole point of the Bill character! And most of them, really. Every week we complain that, for the protagonist of the show, Sookie is a terrible terrible friend to Tara. Sheesh, run away Tara!!

Haven't read the books. Watched all the seasons on Netflick's with my bf. My Uncle calls it "Dracula sex." I have no idea what is going on in season four right now but season three was nuts. I found myself wishing for more episodes each season though. Poor Tara must be messed up from all her traumas. Did she leave at the end of season three and come back in season four? I don't like how Sam got mean when he was drunk. I still wonder if he did shoot his brother in the back. If Bill became the King does that mean he killed the Queen? Sookie being a fairy is kind of cool but does that make Jason fairy too?
