I despise Toddlers and Tiaras! My kids think I'm crazy for not letting them watch it. Ugh, it's just a rotten message to send to kids and it's sickening to watch all those stage moms.

I gave up on The Week the Women Went (HORRIBLE), but now I'm fascinated by Abby & Brittany. Anyone seen it? It's a new reality show (on TLC, I think) about the famous conjoined twins, who are now graduating from college. I remember learning about them when I was a teenager, and being so incredibly fascinated - I think I sat on the floor of Borders for over an hour, looking at whatever magazine or book it was about them. At the time, they had just learned to ride a bicycle. They look like one person with two heads. My SO watched part of an episode with me last night and was kind of speechless with fascination - Abby and Brittany frequently speak in unison, just naturally, without trying to. It's mind-boggling, because they each have their own brain - so how do they do it? They have two arms total, and each of them controls one side of their body (to an extent), which means that while they can each write separately with a pen and paper, when they're typing, they type TOGETHER. They type emails together without talking out loud about what to write. How in the world....?? I'm so excited that they actually have their own TV show now, because I've wanted to learn more about them for years now, but thought they were too private to ever do a TV show.

Liisi, I saw a commercial for Abby & Brittney. I haven't seen the show yet but I remember when there was a tv special on them ages ago and I was totally fascinated by them.Wife of a surgical fellow; Mom to a busy toddler girl and 5 furballs (2 cats, 3 dogs)

I just added a series recording for Breaking Amish on my DVR. Adding it to the list of shows to watch when DH is MIA.
I tried to watch Abby & Brittany and couldn't do it. I feel like a horrible person but it makes me uncomfortable and my mind wanders to the inappropriate. How do they go to the bathroom, what happens if they get a boyfriend ... I suck
