On the Discovery Channel. They're having a bit of a marathon today, and I'm really bummed that I stumbled on it so late. The host is hillarious (in a self-depricating way ... ) and the stuff he does is GROSS. But not "stunt" gross ala Fear Factor. More "Gee. Next time I hate my life I should remember that I don't have to sex alligators for a living." gross.

I'm really in it for the host. He's pretty hunky, too.

I really like this show. My fav was when they toured a sewage plant. NASTY! I'll take under appreciated house wife any day over that!

Yeah, its a good show. Icky though. Glad we don't have smellovision yet.

Love Dirty Jobs. Dh and I watch it faithfully every Tuesday night. Of course it wasnt on for a while so we watched Deadliest Catch faithfully! Mike narrirated (sp?) for that show. Also worth watching....IMO.

Did you know that Mike used to sing opera at the Baltimore opera house? Cant picture it myself.

Mike is the Dirty Jobs host? He's hot...sorry chaneling Paris after reading the thread...but he is.

Those geo ducks are SO WRONG!!! I'm amazed it made it onto the discovery channel w/o serious censoring. Ick. Those are some interesting creatures.

The Asian lady at the end was hillarious (when Mike tasted the stomach). "I told you you were crazy!" DH and I bust up laughing.

I've never had it before and don't see it in stores here. I figure that sometime when I am in Seattle, I'll get a chance to see it in a fish market. I've heard it is really tasty.

DH (being ever the nerd boy) tried to play off the *obvious* phallic quality of the things.

DH: "Yeah - it's got a phallic quality to it. It just looks like a giant tentacle! You obviously didn't watch a lot of NOVA growing up."
