  • VH-1 100 greatest 80's songs

OMG, hysterical! anyone watching this? dh and I laugh...the spandex, the hair, the dance moves, the groupies! OMG!!

worth a watch for the 30's crowd or even the younger "kids"...for a laugh.

ah the 80's....when music was good and not the same bubble gum pop over and over you hear on the radio now.

I haven't seen this particular show, but we were big fans of "I Love the 80s" and all of the subsequent spinoffs.

DH is always complaining about how they just don't make good music they way they used to in the 80s.

I turned it on when it was just around #58. I LOVE stuff like that! The memories just flood back when I hear some of those songs. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my eyes open and passed out about 10 songs into it

Was Cyndi Lauper's "Time after Time" on there? I love that song. It was on "Earl" last week, and I was singing along.

What about "Like a Virgin." I remember when I asked my mom what a virgin was. We were sitting in the car and she had the cassette tape on!

Jenn....I saw the Fixx 8 times during high school. They opened for every band. Unbelievable. Where are they now??

I saw the Violent Femmes a couple of years ago - they are OLD. I had a Teddy Ruxpin, a rubix cube, and on and on. May be young, but the 80s still seems like "my generation" if you will.
