In all honesty...it was tough because Adam Hall on Pittsburgh played for Mich. St...so it was hard cheering against him...but sometimes life is tough.

It's all about choices, isn't it...

I think my dad's heart beat has returned to normal by now. They went to the game- in some weird twist of fate, my uncle decided to buy season tickets this year- my dad and my brother went in on the tickets- they've made quite a bit of money selling them throughout the year- and trading them for primo Steelers and Pirates seats w/ their friends in the 'burgh.

What a great game! We were cheering for the Penguins though, we have no connection to the city but DH has always been a Penguins fan :huh:
At least the last 2 games were on TV here, the earlier ones were not.
Phoenix is not so much a hockey town..even with all the MI folk.

I am thrilled!! DH & I used to live in Detroit he did all of his training there!
You're right Kirsty, even w/the Cyotes they just don't get into it like the cold states!!

DH and I watched the series here and there.

From DH's POV, it was Detroit's championship to lose -- they are that good.
The Penguins will have their day -- eventually.

Congrats to the Detroit fans.
My godfather has season tickets and I'm looking forward to hearing how it was "to be there!"
