Well I guess there will be a new number 1 come Monday. I think USC's loss only shows their attitude, they lost to Stanford last year b/c they got cocky and they just did it again.

Re: Week 5...College Football
oceanchild, it has nothing to do with you personally. I have a very good friend that went to USC.
The PLAYERS of teams with continued success get cocky and overlook "lesser" teams. If there is no hunger in a team they lose.Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

Anyway, I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch my stupid football team once again forget that they have to get through an entire season and not just the big games. We got beat. Plain and simple.
Back to football... I am sure that the trojans will do just fine this season.

Re: Week 5...College Football
and speaking of small extremely expensive liberal arts colleges:
WESTMINSTER, Md. – T.J. Develin (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) contributed 134 of McDaniel’s 193 total yards in a 20-13 victory over Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) football action on Saturday.
(my tuition was $8900 my freshman year and $24k by my senior year. and that was 20 years ago. Holy crap- I just pulled this off their website: $39,630 a year for on-campus $35,980 a year for off campus. I barely MAKE that much money)

Re: Week 5...College Football
Bama is ranked #2 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stars: :stars: :stars: :stars:
I just hope they can hold onto that.We still have to play LSU, and then Auburn.
My teams...
Bama 4-0
Vanderbilt 3-0
Titans 4-0 (will be this afternoon, and not SEC but thrown in here anyway)
Ahhh, it's a good year so far. KNOCKING ON WOOD...
Kelly- we had to buy the Time-Warner SEC Football package this fall. We couldn't get any of our games up here. We love us some SEC football too. We (me, dh when he's here, and ds) whoop and holler in front of the tv every weekend. I would say that our next door neighbors probably think we're crazy, but they do the same thing for Ohio State.
