  • Sunday Night Football - Pats v. Colts

Yay Colts!! Did anyone see the game last night? I knew that they *could* pull it off, but the way they were playing the first three quarters, I wasn't sure they would.

Luckily they got a little boost from Belichick's ego at the end.

I'm not crazy about Pierre Garçon. When I went to training camp, I thought Austin Collie looked better out there in terms of consistently catching. That said, they both flubbed a bit the first 3 quarters and then made some solid catches and plays. Of course, Reggie Wayne is still awesome. He was my favorite receiver even when Marvin Harrison was still on the team. Garçon and Collie will get better / be more comfortable playing pro.

    What. a. game.

    Freakin' Awesome!!!!

    UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

We were watching on the DVR about 30 mins delayed. DH was on call and didn't get home until after it started. When it ended, my mom called and I had to abruptly tell her "don't say anything we are still watching!"

I still can't believe it! What was up w/the Patriots, I mean the poor utilization/
wasting of time outs and then the going for it on 4th down???? Talk about a squeaker!

BTW When the Colts came to IN, their training camp used to be in my home town and we would ride our bikes to the University to watch them practice...so many moons ago

Likely we caught the best part of the game, the last 5 min.

Haha - their training camp has been in my hometown (at DH's alma mater, which is also where we got married... during training camp... fun story about my bridesmaids and me trying to stalk them down after the rehearsal) for the past decade or so. You know, since they got good?
I think after the Super Bowl win they wanted to move the training camp down to Kentucky to build a fan base there, but the players are too superstitious, haha.
