    Anybody watch today?

    (warning: intense Sooner bias ahead)

I thought Alabama looked amazing against the Gators! And I really think Tim Tebow should have manned up a little bit and been a good sport instead of bawling like a baby. I mean, he already has a Heisman, a national title, and most likely an NFL career under his belt--what else did he want?

Also disappointed Nebraska didn't topple Texas. But that was pure luck. I mean, come one, ONE second by ONE point. They are going to get their hineys kicked by Bama--and I'm looking forward to it!

I think Tebow is just a very emotional guy. I mean I'm sure he's sad they lost but I think it was just an overwhelming amount of emotion for him. I dont want to start a debate about whether or not it's ok for men to cry...but I think Tebow is closer to the feminine emotional end of the spectrum then to the macho tough guy end.

Bama looked GREAT! Representin' the SEC!!!!

I caught the end of this game and I felt sad for Tim Tebow. I think his tears come from how much he loves his teammates, the fans and UF. And how much he wanted to give them one more shot at a national championship, not so much to have that for himself. That's the kind of guy he strikes me as, with his strong faith, is wanting for others way before wanting for himself.

I watched my team lose to WVU for the 15th straight year. Yes, 15 years in a row. I'm very glad I sold my ticket to a friend last minute and didn't freeze my ass off in the cold/rain/snow for that poor showing. It's obvious we have a true frosh QB, as shown on the INT he threw as they were driving on 4th & 6 with 2 minutes left in the 4th (didn't help that the erratic RB didn't catch the ball, as he wont to do half of the time, on 3rd & 6). But he has shown some promise this season and I am looking forward to next season's games. I haven't written off our bowl game, but I am honestly sick of the crappy games we draw. International Bowl? Insight Bowl? I want us to play on New Year's Day! I deserve it after sitting through seasons where the biggest crowd was the band and we were 1-11 or 2-10!!! I was obviously really spoiled by our magical 2006 season, and nothing will do until we play on the big day in a big-time bowl...

It will be interesting to see what they do with Cincinnati, ugh (still bitter about my Labor Day). I don't think they have the SOS to play for the national championship. I think it's gonna be Alabama-Texas for all the marbles, but wondering if they'll draw a Boise State or TCU. No, wait, scratch that: I want a Boise State-TCU game. I don't care who Cincinnati plays!

Maybe--but's it's been all about him up until now. I'd hate to be any other player on Florida's team but him. From what I saw, he walked off the field crying and didn't shake hands/give congrats to any of the Bama players (unless I missed it). That seems just like selfish bad sportsmanship to me

It seems like this to me, too. I can barely stand to be in the same room when DH is watching a game with Florida. The way the announcers fawn all over him is just disgusting. I seriously thing that three years from now, they'll be commentating (is that a word?) on a game between two completely unrelated teams, then start reminiscing about how amazing Tim Tebow used to be.

            ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

RAMMER JAMMER YELLOW HAMMER GIVE 'EM HELL ALABAMA!!!!!

I am SO proud of my team!! They really pulled it together and look phenomenal against the best ranked defense in the country. I'm looking forward to bringing home the 4th consecutive title for the SEC!! Represent!!!

In regards to the Tebow thing -- you know, I am so sick of hearing about him. Every announcer and reporter and anyone else associated with the media just yammers on incessantly about how freakin perfect he is that even if he were perfect you couldn't help but hate him a little. HOWEVER, he honestly seems like a good kid and is clearly very passionate and emotional and I can't really fault him for that. If in fact he didn't shake hands with our guys after the game (I didn't see b/c I was too busy screaming and flailing around like a moron ), then yes I think that's unsportsmanlike and all-in-all rude and he should really have more class than that. But he basically came back to Florida this year to lead his team to a national championship and probably felt like he let his team, his university, and his fans down and was understandably upset -- some guys throw things, some guys bawl like a baby. He just happens to be the later.
