This is a bye week for us, to prepare for our slaughter next Saturday vs. UNC.

Not sure how much watching I will be doing, as I will be at a bridal shower much of Saturday. I did watch bits and pieces of Cincy vs. NC State tonight. Cincy looks like crap, which just makes the BE look even crummier.

As much I have learned to love college football over the past 10 years, there are some times that I really wish I went to a school in an athletic conference where football was a religion. But I must admit that the other intangibles of my collegiate experience (i.e., meeting my DH) make me realize I'm glad I went where I did.

I'll be following the Florida Tennessee game...and probably one of the more local games (Texas, OU, LSU).

I'm not exactly surprised, but... they aren't showing the OU game on the west coast. I'm in Trojan worshiping territory, so it's SOL for today. I'm "watching" on ESPN Gamecast. *sad face*

I'm hoping that my friend Jenn is going to be able to meet me at the gym tomorrow after this Texas/Texas Tech game. The Terps lost to WVU- no surprise there. McDaniel College, my alma mater, beat Catholic on Saturday. (they're 3-0 against Juniata, Moravian and Catholic- all huge schools that I'm sure you all have heard of!) Go Division III Football!

At least your college had a football team! That's more than I can say for my school.

OU won--wahoo! Though, it really should have been a better win. Air Force flyovers are always a plus, though The 33 home game winning streak stands, meaning I've never ever had to see them lose at home. I got some wicked sunburn, though

Watched Tech & Texas a little bit...there was really no way for there to be a bad outcome to that game, at least for me. Would have preferred Texas to lose, though

Army won, too! They're actually not horrible so far. (2-1)

Bittersweet game for the Spartans. Amazing finish, we beat ND, but our coach had a heart attack after the game. He was stented and is going to be fine. Thank God. If you haven't seen it, here is the finish.

Wow, the Ohio State - Ohio smackdown is pretty funny!! Somebody definitely screwed up by allowing both mascots to be on the field during pre-game/team entrances...
