Haha I just paid $60 for a non-conference game. And I thought that was a good deal. Tickets can be ridiculous. $200 for a crappy student section seat is not unheard of.

I digress. Watched a lot of the Oregon-LSU game last night. Oregon looked flat and had a lot of turnovers that LSU capitalized on for TDs. I feel for JaneDoe, I hope she still enjoyed the game and her trip!!
Oh, and I was also rooting against ND. Their opponent yesterday is in our conference, so it made us look good. USF is going to have another great season (so much so that I will probably have to drink heavily prior to their home game against us to numb the pain of our inevitable loss). ND is always overhyped in the pre-season and then doesn't deliver.Event coordinator, wife and therapist to a peds attending

The game was a total let down for us. We sucked! I feel that the Ducks team that we know just didn't show up to play. I have to add that some of the LSU fans we encountered were the nastiest fans I've met. I know there are Duck fans out there that are obnoxious, but the LSU fans were just mean. A LSU fan down the row and behind us talked loudly about how "nerdy" Duck fans are and then said "see, look at the the pimples on the guy in front of us. (Pointing to a young college kid or high school kid. Not sure his age exactly) They proceeded to flick stuff at them and spill beer. This Duck fan and his family was quiet and from where I sat, it didn't seem they provoked them. Security arrived eventually, and I don't know exactly what happened after that, but some of them left.
We had a great time in Dallas. The people here are great although this place is a little too hot for me. Hopefully, the the rest of the Ducks' season will be waaaaaay better.Wife of Ophthalmologist and Mom to my daughter and two boys.

So the two big games for our area last Saturday 9/3 were the Ducks vs. Tigers and the Oregon State vs. Sacramento State in Corvallis. I guess both Oregon teams took a loss.
Next up is September 10th for Oregon State Beavers vs. Wisconsin and The University of Oregon Ducks vs. Nevada.PGY4 Nephrology Fellow
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.

Didn't say the fans win. It boosts revenue for the smaller school because they get a percentage of ticket sales, and their fans are more likely to travel from Podunk U North to Big School U than to Podunk U South. Plus, big schools are more likely to be televised, and they get to share television money too.
