  • College Football Playoffs!

It's never too early to talk about college football!

Not set in stone yet, but it seems inevitable--4 team playoff!!!!

    http://blogs.wsj.com/dailyfix/2012/0...college-sport/

Goodness I hope they aren't all played in Tempe, Miami, NOLA, and Pasedena. Time to get some Midwest and Northern cities on that list. I'm still chafing from the time OU had to play Florida in freakin' MIAMI and how LSU basically ended up with a home game last year (not that it helped).
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

I definitely support playoffs in any form, but I thought this (admittedly, very USC-oriented) blog post made a good case for 8 teams: http://lostangelesblog.wordpress.com...e-fix-the-bcs/

Hooray playoffs!!! I also like that the play-in games will be on New Years Day. (ETA: are "proposed" to be on New Years Day... we'll see what they actually set in stone)

I think 16 or 8 teams would be WAY better, but it's a start!!!

Better than nothing! I also love the proposal that the #1 and 2 teams may get home games - it's way more fair for non-SEC/PAC-10 schools.
