Is anyone excited about this. We're going to a party.

We are a big football family and Sunday ticket subscribers, but this year we're a little less than thrilled. DH is a Raiders fan, they had a very promising season until their QB broke his fibula. I'm a Steelers fan. In typical Steeler fashion, we made it to the AFC championship and lost again to the Pats whom I hate with the heat of a thousand suns. I guess DH and I are still too occupied licking our wounds to be excited. Definitely goes without saying though that we'll be watching and rooting for the Falcons.

I work with all Pats fans. They're so annoying. Our managing partner is taking his kids to their 3rd or 4th Super Bowl (at 13 and 15) was like "yeah I mean it's gotten to the point where the season is a failure if we don't win the Super Bowl". Insufferable.

My favorite part of the Super Bowl is the food. DH is on call on Sunday, and we aren't having anybody over, but I'm still going to try to make wings, pulled pork, chip & dip, and all that fun stuff.

I went to the pool today and saw my mother's thighs under my swimsuit. I won't be eating any of that stuff ever again.

            I'm coming over!

We did have plans to go to a friend's house (first half only), but I've been really sick since Thursday. I'll be shocked if my kids aren't sick tomorrow... and it's been a yucky sickness. Not something I'd want to spread to a pregnant lady with a toddler. So probably nothing.

Bill fan here too. And living in Boston. The sports fans here are insufferable.

Avoiding. 😅 I loved pro games and watched avidly until I want to say college? Then fell out of love.
I actually enjoy basketball more than football now, but having said that, never watch any of it really.

I avoid it too. Personally I hate football. It's a great time to go shopping though! All the stores are empty

Watching. No real team preference today. Having people over for food.

Sounds like we're in similar, but opposite situations. We should have swapped houses for the weekend.

Kids went to a youth superbowl party. Hubby and I watched ourselves. I took a break with Atlanta way ahead to go watch the latest Victoria episode. I come back 45 minutes later to find them getting ready to score for a tie. Honestly, the only thing I cared about was not letting "the cheaters" ( as they are called in our house) win yet another Superbowl. I guess winning is all that really counts, huh... Just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I would have been happy for anyone else winning this year. So we can film the other team, deflate balls or whatever it takes.. GRRRR.
