  • A little perspective

I got this in an email today, and just wanted to share it with you! I think that being a medical spouse means that you worry about the "hot chocolate" and not the "cup" for a LONG time!

Thanks for the link! It has been a tough month of the surgery rotation and I definitely needed some perspective!

Surgery was a big pain for us, too - but since it's what he wants to do, I was fully prepared to NEVER see him and never get any help from him I've heard that OB is worse...oh joy of joys! Hang in There!

Yup, residency was definitely all about the cup, how much it sucked and how unfair it was to have the ugliest one. We have upgraded the cup a bit and now planning on the next upgrade, while enjoying the hot chocolate.

Mine didn't love OB but I think he hates surgery worse, haha. We can sleep in a little later these days so it's getting better! I just feel badly for him in the middle of winter, never seeing the sun. I should focus on bringing some hot chocolate to our lives this weekend.
