  • When Watermelons Attack...

DH and I finally got around to watching the Amazing Race episode we DVR'd from Sunday. OMG we haven't laughed this hard in forever. Here's the youtube clip of the accident.

I almost peed my pants laughing. It was even funnier that right before her teammate said "right in the kisser"

We saw a clip for it 2 weeks ago on the soup, so the surprise factor wasn't quite there for us... But DD and I still thought it was pretty funny, in a slip on a banana peel cringing way...

ETA OK the youtube clip is pretty hilarious..

Aloha from paradise! And the other side of training!

Yikes! I don't watch the show, so I'm glad they showed she was okay! My first thought was that surely she'd broken something the way the watermelon exploded.

Haha, saw that on Sunday (and in the pre-show publicity blitz). They are Reno kids. Stay classy, Reno. (<-- A saying I find myself using a lot!)

I'm actually shocked she wasn't hurt more severly! I thought for sure she would have a bloody nose at best, broken nose at worst. I was joking with DH that I'm grateful that didn't happen to me seeing as I'm allergic to watermelons!

Oh my gosh I'm suprised she didn't have any major head trauma, I would so be crying like a baby if I got hit in the head by a watermelon... I can't believe it exploded like that! Crazy!

I thought she'd have a broken nose at the very least. I thought her teammate pushing her to continue was really uncalled for. Unbelievable.

OUCH! I hope she's looking back at it and laughing! (with an intact nose...)

It was said in such a deadpan way, I figured she was joking.

She'll have a story to tell, that's for sure.
