If my husband did that, I would never buy groceries he likes ever ever again! But his hospital is 35 miles from home. LOL

LOL, to his credit I normally stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 so he knew I was awake. Apparently he'd been drowning in trauma alerts and had only just sat down to realize the only thing he had access to was the vending machines. The cafeteria here is tiny and only open for like a grand total of 5 hours during the day. It might as well not exist.

                      No credit given.

Did the cafeteria does change their hours? Unless this was a completely unanticipated situation (i.e. a fire renders the cafeteria inoperable), he shouldn't depend on you for normal meals.

Normally the med student will make a food run at some point during the night, but it just so happened that (a) everyone brought their food last night except him and (b) they had one trauma alert on top of another and he couldn't get to the cafeteria during the hour that they're open for dinner (the cafeteria is seriously atrocious -- it's a complete waste of space, no one ever makes it there before it closes)

I'm a big fan of these memes though -- it really does make you smile at an otherwise enraging situation .
