How do you feel about doing sales? Personally, I would be leary of going into sales with the current economy, but it is a judgement call on your part. There are lots of questions that *I* would need answered before even remotely considering the job. (I've never really worked sales before, but most of my working life was in customer service/sales support positions where I worked closely with a specific set of sales reps in a specific territory. While my job was never dependent on what growth was, I was very cognizant of those stats.)

Is it direct to consumers or is it business to business? How has business been lately? What are the stats for the territory you would have? Have sales been flat or down with the current economy? What are your year over year goals going to be for growth? What sort of time frame are they going to give you to get up to speed with the product? What is the internal sales support structure like?
