  • Snarky in the Suburbs :D

For those of you who have ever done the school car line, check out this link: http://snarkyinthesuburbs.com/2011/0...hool-drop-off/

I was cracking up reading it this morning. Someone on my parenting board posted it, and ALL of it is true (plus a few more I could add). When all three of our kids were in private school I had to do this at two different schools every single morning and afternoon for 2 years. It drove me bat-shit crazy, and is one of the main reasons why I am thrilled that DD has been in public school the past four years and takes the bus.

I need to post that to the school's FB page. People make me cray with that crap. Esp the moms that get out of the car and do hugs and kisses. Gah!

I have friends in my neighborhood who pick-up and drop-off even though the bus stop is a block from them. NUTSO! I had to negotiate the hellhole of pick-up yesterday and if I never do it again it'll be too soon.

This cracks me up. Totally the way our drop-off was in Illinois, but NOT AT ALL tolerated here. Our principal would put up with this crap for about 1/2 of a second. I'm sure people think she's a bitch - I think she's effective.
