My 2.5yr old a.m. kid has a habit of naming his animals gibberish names. His leopard is Pontaputu (pronounced Ponta Poo Too). His buffalo is Baaboo, His baseball figure that is a referee, his name is fat fa fa. Its hilarious how kids come up with names for their animals.-L.Jane

When it started with Horny? I wondered how they knew what my child had named her unicorn.
ETA: this is just as funny the second (or third) time through.Last edited by HouseofWool; 03-18-2013, 08:28 PM.Kris

This made my night. When it became obvious that DD is left handed, a ridiculous number of people started asking me about her creativity because left handed people are, of course, so creative. I can think of three specifically who asked about toy naming, and were probably SO disappointed to hear that her pillow pet is "pillow petty", giraffe is "giraffey", etc for every.single.animal. The only friends with names come from Build A Bear because the store pretty much holds a child hostage until they come up with a name.-Deb

Little Bear - a polar bear
Kitty - a grey tiger cat
Puppy - a tan dog
He also had a large stuffed tiger that was named..... Tiger.
S's lovey is soft pink rag doll about about 8" tall. Her name is Soft Baby. *sigh*
She does have a baby doll that is named Dorothy. (Pronounced just like Auntie Em says it, Do-Ro-Thy.) But that's as creative as we get here.
Until Horny came along, but that only lasted a day or so and then she called it something else that escapes me at the moment. It has since broken and is no longer the subject of many conversations. Thankfully.Kris
