  • Where is your "Happy Place?"

    I know where WGW's is!

But I did start thinking about it today...whenever I start to get tired of summer and think about things that make me feel happy and bring back good childhood memories, I always think of Branson/Silver Dollar City. Especially at Christmas. It has never disappointed and I've been back so many times. The best part will be taking my kids and letting them experience the things that made me so happy.

    So where is yours?
Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Same as WGW's. Spent weeks every summer growing up just a few miles from their place. Love it so much.

Is it awful that I read the thread title and my first thought was "Target"?

At this stage in our life it would be Turks & Caicos - that is probably the best vacation we've ever taken and have it booked for February again.

For DH and I only it would be a beach in Hawaii!

I like places where I can feel like I'm away from it all. Maui, the North Cascades, the San Juans, the Oregon Coast all qualify.

We were on the North Cascades highway this weekend and I always love that drive. It's so peaceful.
