  • Happy Thought for the day!!

I don't know about the rest of you all living above the "Mason-Dixon" line, but I'm THRILLED to say good bye to February. For some of you, this will mean more gentle weather is already on the way. For the true north crowd, this means only approximately 6 more weeks of winter!

Good riddance February, bring on March.

It's supposed to get into the mid-fifties over the weekend here. I can hardly wait.

      Yes!
Today marks the end of my dh's final crappy month on the ICU for the rest of fellowship!!!
Just in the last few weeks alone, I've backed into somebody's car (causing them damage, none to my car), burned my stomach, and had some major work issues that came up that have caused me some extra stress! Also, my 4 year old has taken to once again having frequent accidents and to antagonizing her little sister until she brings her to tears! I'm so ready for this month to be over!!!
      Awake is the new sleep!

sue--- i remember reading about your stomach burn somewhere before--- i hope you are doing better!!! how are you feeling with the pregnancy?

anyway-- i just put my complaint about february in the parenting column : : , but i totally agree with the overall sentiment here! my kids are sick of being cooped up, but we can't hit the playgrounds regardless of weather until izzy is all healed from her broken clavicle in 5 weeks. so i'm hopeful that the weather gets nice, but not too nice! i always like march, though... not as much as april, but it's progress!
