Hey, pajamas are just one more thing to have to haul to the laundromat, and really, who needs that?
For times when we are someone's houseguests or we have houseguests, though, I have a navy T-shirt and some flannel drawstring shorts. FH wears scrubs.Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.

I love PJ's! I'm wierd about making sure my pajamas coordinate if they aren't a complete set.
My favorites are red silk bottoms with a black Asian print that my sister brought me back from China. They came with a matching shirt but I wear it with a black cotton camisole instead.Awake is the new sleep!

Okay now I'm adding something to my list of luxuries to look forward to in the future: The chance to form an opinion about silk sheets.Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.

I am all about nightshirts and nightgowns......I keep trying to transition to pajamas because I see so many cute ones, but I really prefer gowns.....soft ones, like cotton or flannel (not so much the slick satiny kind).

The ever sexy T-shirt and underwear unless the temperature is like -20, in which case I have a pair of flannel pjs. I get super hot at night though so it has to be REALLY cold for me to wear the pjs.
On the road, I try to always pack a pair of shorts or flannel bottoms because there are too many stories of my co-workers having to evacuate a hotel due to a fire or fire drill. One unfortunate co-worker had decided to wash all of her undies and was nekked and had to evacuate in the dead of winter wearing nothing but the blanket and comforter from her bed.
Otherwise, when I'm home, my beloved and I are both in t-shirt and undies, plus 3 cats and a dog. (no wonder I get hot, even in the King size bed) Before we moved to DC (and sacrificed the stupid cat in the mattress -long story for those who are new...) We had four cats, the dog and both of us in a double bed. Crazy.

I prefer the t-shirt and undies as well. I have a whole stash of DH's college shirts. He was a tennis player and got lots of free clothes. Nothing beats them, but like others have mentioned, I wear shorts when at someone's house or when we have people here. Until I get into bed, that is. I also didn't like the night gowns getting tangled around my legs, and that is the same reason why I don't like pj pants or shorts.
