Last night at Open House.....a student whose mother recently became a single mom and had to go back to college had written a very nice poem about what she loves about her home, and when her mom read it, she started crying (because she is feeling bad that she isn't home much anymore) and I got tears in my eyes (as did the other teacher I work with).
