  • My new mood makeover...

New mommy confession time. With the exception of the baby's baptism, I haven't donned a single nice outfit in three months. I run around in sweats adorned with various bodily fluids and my dirty hair pulled back in a pony tail. I'm just a bit too chubby to fit into my normal clothes and I don't want to buy anything new so I'm lookin' HOT right now. (Think: "before" picture in a magazine). Anyway, it is starting to make me feel old and tired.

So I'm starting anew. I'm going to make a hair appointment and buy at least one more pair of pants that fit. I'm hoping that this helps me feel a little brighter. Can anyone submit my name to Oprah for her stylist team to come to my house?

Good for you Kelly, I recently came to the same conclusion. I'm attempting to style my hair daily (I think I wore my hair in a ponytail twice last week, which is a record for me since its usually always up) and to put at least a little cover-up over the dark circles around my eyes. It's done wonders for my mood! Oh yeah, I'm attempting to wear cuter outfits also, though I could use some help in that department.
    Awake is the new sleep!

I will totally call Oprah for you if you call what not to wear for me.

I don't know Kelly, you were looking pretty hot in the Christmas photo I got from you! Really, you all looked gorgeous! Moms are beautiful, even if we don't look like pictures in a magazine!

Oh, Sally, flattery will get you everywhere with me...
I had a shower that day and I wore something other than track pants.
