I met a woman the other day who was truly inspiring. I was helping out in my DH's office and she has been his patient for many years. She has a Bachelors and a Masters in Engineering from MIT. She started on her PhD and her husband became ill so she quit. Her made her promise to finish it when he died. She finished her PhD at Princeton after he died. Last year she decided she wanted to do something different, and she is in her second semester of Law School at Seton Hall University. She just celebrated her 81st birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to have that much energy and willingness to learn at 81! Or even now at 28. Just thinking of doing a PhD is exhausting.
