No, but we just received that we will receive our relief check the same time that we have to pay for some unexpected dental surgery and we literally just emptied out our life savings to purchase our first home. God really does provide.

I'm kind of embarrassed about our finances because our current idea of retirement planning consists of purchasing a Powerball ticket. Meanwhile, my college girlfriends are in investment clubs and have college fund accounts set up for their kids. The truly embarrasing part is that my undergrad degree is in ACCOUNTING! Ugh!

Kelly, you are too funny! I like your retirement plan! I still need to do that pre-plan payments for our kids' college tuition. I still haven't done that yet! Gee... Thanks for reminding me!!!

          You guys too?!!!

Our check doesn't come until after Sept. 9th...we just got the notice yesterday...but it will be a welcome relief. Another bonus is that we filed our tax return for last year and added our sign-on bonus to it. We paid over 2,000 in taxes on it and were informed this week by the hospital that it counted as a financial gift and they are paying a tax attorney to get the money back for us...yippeee! Maybe we'll be able to get ahead on some of those bills and buy some extra powerball tickets!
