Feel free to add to this thread or change kitties to guppies or whatever. I started it because in the past week, I've seen 2 impossibly cute kittens, both strays.
1) On my way to work the other morning, a black and white, ferile stray was wandering through our community garden. I made kissy noises to try to entice it to come over and as it turned to face me, I saw that it had a mouse dangling from its mouth! I nearly fell over laughing.
2) Today, on my way to work, I was walking up one of the busiest streets, along an abandoned lot used to sell Christmas trees and host Cirque de Soleil. It's become rather overgrown, so I almost didn't notice the kitten - couldn't have been more than 4 weeks old - march up to me and mew this little, high-pitched kitten mew. I looked around for the rest of the litter or a mommy and couldn't find either, so I tried to grab it, but it ran away
I'm going to look for it again on my way home tonight.
