  • Top ten embarrasing moments.

    10. Trying to hurdle over a chain link fence in my high school's parking lot just as school was letting out. I ended up hanging myself and getting a bruise around my neck in front of the whole student body.

    9. Walking down the aisle of a Jumbo Jet with my skirt tucked in my underwear.

    8. Having my toddler son bring me a handful of "feminine hygiene products" after playing in my purse.

Sadly, I have even more moments than this, but I'm feeling a little sheepish. Help me out!

    ok my freakish friend hehehe

I'll bite on this one, but admit feeling sheepish as my all-time embarassing moment was a bit...uuuum...well, I may have to email it to you!

    7. Finny was just 6 mo old and I was still nursing her. I was taking an evening cell bio course and had to go in during the day to get some extra help....so I of course brought my 1 year old and Finny....Andrew spilled my diet coke all over the prof's floor and Finny began crying to be fed..she was making a desperate attempt to nurse through my clothes . I left the office and looked down and realized that I had "leaked" all through my blouse! waaah!

    8. Paying for gas at the checkout and having my purse fall over and a tampon roll out onto my money..... I think that the 16 yr old boy behind the counter was more embarassed than me though!

still deciding on whether or not to post my most embarassing moment.....

      Kris,

Thanks for replying, I was feeling like a freak! My only hope is that my awkwardness and clutziness is endearing somehow!

        I just remembered another one...

Last week and mommy and me gymnastics, we all got to jump in this great big foam pit....the problem was, I couldn't get OUT!!! The foam pulls off loose articles of clothing and it immediately whisked away my socks....but the best part is that I was wearing loose-fitting sweatpants that wanted to disappear into foam-land too! To get out, I had to hold my pants with one hand and have one of the other moms pull me out with the other

Needless to say, today I stayed away from the pit!

I know you are still out of town, but I just thought of another one!

When I was doing my post-bach, I was working part-time in the chemistry department. One afternoon I had to clean out the acid and base closets that we had. They were on the floor and so I had to bend down to pull things out/clean them off. My back started to hurt and so after everything was out of the cupboards, I just sad down in front of them and got to work. About 30 minutes later, I noticed that my behind hurt...I was finished, so I put everything back where it belonged and went back to the office that I was using...and realized...my bum still hurt... .....I went to the bathroom and realized....I'd burnt a hole in my behind! I obviously had sat in some sort of acid or base !

I was mandated to report this to my supervisor, a male professor, and chem dept. guidelines required actually that you were supposed to strip and get in the shower in the lab...The prof wanted to escort me to the ladies room and help me rinse the area with a bicarbonate solution

Fortunately, he let me take care of it myself...but let me just say...I never, ever sat on the floor in one of the chem labs again!
