Hello again...

Hello again to you all. I introduced myself a while back and just recently rediscovered this website.

We currently live in Nashville, where we've been for nearly 8 years for med school/residency. Right now my DH is finishing a year of research/moonlighting. In 2 months we're moving to Cleveland, Ohio where DH is starting a 3-5 year cardiology fellowship...the last leg of training for us!!!

I am a first-year stay-at-home-mom to 3 kids and a pug.

This is a wonderful support system that you all have created. I look forward to chatting more...

Pinkpickles - right about the 3 yrs for general cardiology, he hasn't yet decided which field of specialty...imaging, interventional, EP,...

I hope Cleveland has a strong spouse support network, because we'll be far, far, far away from all family and friends!!! Yikes!

We'll even if your program doesn't welcome you with open arms, our Ohio contingent certainly will. I think the Ohioans are taking over from the Minnesotans in numbers.

Welcome! Good luck on your move to Cleveland. If you are at UH, there is a great spousal group called HOWA. We moved from there going on 4 years ago.

We have a 7-month old high maintenance fawn pug who thinks she runs the house. Her name is CoCo Robichaux, after the fictitious bad girl in YaYas in Bloom (good book!) CoCo's world is about the be rocked because she's going into the kennel twice next month while we're out of town

Cards at the Cleveland Clinic? That'll be some good training!

We left Cleveland in June of last year. I'd never so much as stepped foot in the state of Ohio before we drove our U-Haul there from Oregon in 2002. We found Clevelanders to be very welcoming people.
