    Hello!

    Hello everyone!

    I've been looking for a site like this. I'm so glad that I stumbled across it!

    I'm the wife of a PGY4 Ophthalmology Resident. We have two boys--the oldest is almost 4 and the youngest just turned one. I stay home with them, but before that I was a teacher.

    Glad to be here and looking forward to reading more.

    Welcome, I think we have a few Optho spouses and depending on where you're located the chance is very high we have someone there too!

    Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

        Glad you found us! DH is heavily considering Optho, so you'll have to clue me in when we get closer.

              I'd love to run into some other Ophtho spouses. Md/PhD wife, my DH is an MD/PhD, also. He's Chief this year loooking at Retina. I'd be happy to offer any advice I can. We just got a major blow as match was this week and he didn't get a spot. He's floundering as to what to do. Right now we are going to wait until Monday to see what spots are available in the scramble. I'd love to get some advice from BTDT spouses.

              BTW, we're in KY, but we're from TN.

                            Thanks for the scramble wishes. I'll post to let you know how it goes. It's so hard to see DH so upset. He's moving past the angry phase and into the "I'm going to show them" phase. At least that's more productive.
