  • Hello!

Hello everyone! I'm so glad to have found this site!

I am a PhD student and wife to a third year medical student. He just started his ob rotation this week. He's on nights this week, so by the time he gets home, I've left for school
I've been trying to fill up my time so that I don't notice that he's gone, but it's hard getting used to not having him around.

Nevertheless, I look forward to getting to know you all better!

Hi! I'm new here as well, but wanted to say that I know what you're going through. My husband just started residency and my son and I are having a hard time adjusting. Looking forward to getting to know you- good luck with everything!

Welcome - The third year is a huge change and it is really hard when they are gone so much. Good luck and you will find many sympathetic ears here.

My DH is a MS3 as well, so it looks like we'll be commisserating together this year.

I look forward to seeing you around!

So for those who have spouses in third year, how has it been so far?

Also, for those who have already gone through the med school years, does it ever get better??

The days feel like they're crawling by.....

                              Well, no. It gets different.

Some parts are WAY better, some parts aren't. Stick around, you'll see!
